Individual-level interventions to promote fruit and vegetable intake, improve diet and physical activity and decrease obesity have not shown much success. Statewide initiatives, aimed at community-level change, build from multi-disciplinary perspectives. Through legislative approaches, consensus building, and marketing campaigns, statewide initiative discussed during this session will demonstrate incremental successes and outline approaches that can be utilized by other states. | |||
