This invited session will provide an update on the emerging field of public health systems research and profile alternative methods and current findings from studies of the structure, operation, and impact of public health systems
Learning Objectives: • Identify the current and potential roles of research on public health systems in promoting evidence-based policy and practice • Evaluate alternative methodologies and available data sources for studying the structure, operation, and impact of public health systems • Profile current research studies that offer evidence and insight concerning how best to organize, finance, and deliver pubic health services
