The Impact of Financing Structures on Coverage and Care
The use of public and private financing to increase personal health care and improve the quality of the care continues to be important issues. This session will present a diverse set of papers that present different perspectives on the impact of financing structures on coverage and care. These include ways to increase coverage, ways public financing can be used to improve care and how fees can address costs of care.
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this session participants will be able to describe: Two effective linkages for increasing coverage for children. How public financing structures can improve access to specialty care. How fees contribute to the cost of maternal health services
