This session will discuss the role of health care services and safe sleeping practices in reducing infant mortality and Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) in the United States. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant will be able to: 1. Describe patterns and trends in race/ethnic-specific infant mortality. 2. Discuss prenatal care coordination strategies for high risk pregnant women. 3. Describe safe sleeping practices for infants to reduce the risk of SIDS. | |||
