In this session the learner will hear about bioterrorism including emergency preparedness and training needs of behavioral and public health professionals. The learner will also hear about the implementation of a mass prophylaxis plan to vaccinate high-risk individuals during the national influenza vaccine shortage. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) in this session will be able to: 1. Identify at least two methods that will enhance the implementation of a Mass Prophylaxis Plan 2. Discuss current emergency preparedness training and identify additional training needs and determine the most effective and efficient methods for training. 3. Describe the use of Community Needs Assessment (CNA) data to analyze impact and evaluate efficacy of educational efforts of a bioterrorism preparedness program. 4.
