In this session, the learner will hear about depression in a minority population as well as self-control and its association with mortality. The learner will also hear about factors associated with fatal drug overdoses in two communities. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) will be able to: 1. Describe contextual factors associated with fatal drug overdose in both New York City and Miami-Dade County, Florida 2. list risk factors associated with depression in Mexican health worker population 3. recognize manifestations of low self-control and its association with mortality | |||
