Public health and health care systems increasingly must respond to the specific needs of older adults, and health education and health promotion strategies must be adapted for this population. The speakers in this session will describe particular needs of older adults that present challenges to health educators and describe interventions designed to meet these needs. In addition, speakers will discuss specific health issues, such as vaccination and brain health, that are of particular concern for the aging population. | |||
