In this session the learner will hear about the usefulness of collecting biomarkers in Epidemiologic studies. Methods of collecting biological data to maximize data quality will be reviewed. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) will be able to: 1. Address policy implications of large scale population-based biomarker collection 2. Discuss approaches for operationalizing biomarker collection in a national population-based survey 3. Discuss the multi-dimensional approach used to train lay people to collect biological data and its impact on data quality 4. Understand human subjects implications of collecting biophysical data in a population-based study, including current policy recommendations. | |||
