Student and New Researcher Papers in Maternal and Child Health
The session showcases papers submitted by students and new researchers that cover the following MCH topics in the following areas: 1) Child health: screening, preventive programs and community-based interventions, 2) Maternal health: risk factors across labor, delivery, and postpartum, and 3)Maternal and child practice issues: midwifery and health professional training.
Learning Objectives: At the end of this section, participants will be able to: 1. List three preventive programs or interventions to promote child health. 2. Describe risk factors related to maternal health from labor to postpartum. 3. Identify qualitative and quantitative indicators concerning maternal and child health professional training and practice issues.
