Learning Objectives:
- Participants will be able to articulate and discuss the match between health systems’ demands and adults’ proficiencies.
- Participants will be able to identify at least three literacy and cultural barriers to access to care and navigation of health systems, consent and participation in research, for the management of chronic disease, and for prevention and early detection activities.
- Participants will be able to identify and articulate at least three mechanisms for improving written and oral communication
