On Screening for Breast Cancer

David A. Freedman, Department of Statistics, University of California at Berkeley, 367 Evans Hall #3860, Berkeley, CA 94720-3860, (510) 642-6190, census@stat.berkeley.edu

From time to time, the validity of the experiments is questioned, but the criticisms have generally been ill-founded. This is joint work with Diana B Petitti (Kaiser) and James M Robins (Harvard).
