This session will explore the different aspects of improving the health disparities that exist for LGBT populations. Specific examples of program and policy development, educational outreach, curriculum enhancement and heightened awareness are described. | |||
Learning Objectives: 1) Describe/define LGBT Populations in the community-at-large. 2)Recognize the importance of community organizations & coalitions that promote health equality. 3)Recognize the challenges in the promotion of quality LGBT health. | |||
