Health systems research provides the evidence base needed to guide improvements in the organization, financing, and delivery of health services. This session features original presentations that examine the availability and quality of data and other resources needed to conduct high-quality research on health systems. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be able to: (1) Assess the strengths and limitations of existing data and methods used to conduct research on health systems; (2) Evaluate alternative strategies for improving the collection and retrieval of research-quality data within health systems; and (3) Develop recommendations for policy-makers and health administrators concerning actions to improve the availability of data for health systems research. | |||
