This class of papers presents original research studies that investigate administrative and system-level issues in organizing, financing, and delivering health services and public health interventions. These studies examine the implementation and/or impact of innovative administrative strategies involving such activities as organizational redesign, multi-institutional partnerships and alliances, infrastructure development, and technology adoption and diffusion. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be able to: Assess the strengths and limitations of research methods used to evaluate the implementation and impact of health administration and financing strategies Evaluate the strength and nature of evidence about the effectiveness of strategies for organizing, financing, and delivering health services and public health interventions. Develop recommendations for decision-makers in health policy and administration based on research findings. | |||
