Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be able to: (1) describe key ways in which new health information technologies are being applied in public health settings; (2) evaluate the implementation and impact of new health information technologies in public health settings; and (3) identify unresolved issues and remaining questions concerning the use of new technology in public health practice.
