This session will continue the tradition of the past decade of APHA meetings, where members discuss current issues in injury data. The following topics will be discussed at length: 1) operationalizing definitions from Healthy People 2010, 2) new features of WISQARS, 3) accurately defining poisonings, and 4) the work of ISW5 in updating the STIPDAGreen book on injury surveillance.

increase data expertise among participants; address difficult issues and explore potential solutions; create networks of those committed to good data.
