There are rich sources of information on the Association and a growing body of multimedia material. Yet these sources are fragile if not gathered, preserved, and made accessible. The body of material provides the threads to the complete tapestry of the Association. And highlights both the past as mirrored in the present. The importance of members and groups contributing to the corpus of historic material is illustrated and emphasized.
Learning Objectives: Sources of historic information are identified and indicates how members and organizational components of APHA can contribute to the APHA History Update Project.
