Tuesday, November 6, 2007: 3:00 PM

Peter Lowell Beilenson, MD, MPH , Howard County Health Department, Columbia, MD
In this presentation, the Howard County (MD) Executive and Health Officer will present their new county-wide, uninsured health access plan. This plan combines widespread access to an array of services with a health coach approach. This innovative program is one of the few county-wide programs in the county aimed at ALL uninsured members of the community, regardless of income.

Learning Objectives:
Learn how an individual county can take on the effort to deal comprehensively with the uninsured population in that jurisdiction. Learn how to develop a network of community partners in a county-wide health access effort.
