Globalization is driving the traditional international and global health into a new era of change and development. This is enhanced by more international and national funding, cooperation among industrial countries and more movement of health professionals across the borders. This session is adressing the current status and future trends in global health programs and sources of funding. Self preparation for such careers will be highlighted for new enterants, mid and long career health professionals. Leadrers form WHO/Pan American Health Organization, US Agency for International Development, World bank and Peace Corps will advice on opportunities and procedures of recruitment.
Session Objectives: - Exploring the current status and future trends of global and international health programs' scope and funding - Recommending actions for self preparation and job hunting. - Learning about opportunities and procedures for joining large international, governmental and NGO employers
