The 9th Annual Donabedian Quality Improvement Award of the Medical Care Section of APHA will be presented to Barbara Starfield MD MPH. Her work in quality and equity of health services and particulary in prinary and continuity of care will be spotlighted and related to the work of Dr. Donabedian. Additional presentations will include a related discussion of diagnosis error in primary care by Dr.Gordon Schiff, Chair of the Donabedian Award commitee
