This session describes a variety of strategies utilized to reduce health disparities. Specific strategies include assessing the needs of specific populations, implementing targeted community-based interventions, and shifting the concept of diversity in an institute of higher education.
Session Objectives: At the end of the session, the participant will be able to: 1. Identify partnerships that address the community’s health disparities 2. Describe successful interventions to reach targeted populations.
