This presentation will discuss what is needed to develop and carry out an emergency plan for construction sites. Topics to be discussed include: 1) on site preplanning and development of Emergency Response Plan (ERP) ; 2) coordination with outside resources and authorities; 3) training and drilling of site emergency management team; 4) incident management; 5) critical incident stress management; and 6) handling of the press.

1. Recognize types of emergencies found on construction site. 2. Learn the steps needed to develop an emergency plan for a construction site.
