This presentation will describe the current partnerships between public health nursing practice and education. Specifically the project aimed at developing the public health nursing to population ratio model will be described. The unique perspectives of the QUAD Council organizations regarding partnerships and the public health nurse to population ratio model will also be included in the discussion.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the session, the participants will

1. Discuss examples of partnership between public health nursing practice and education.

2. Identify uses of public health nurse to population ratio.

3. Discuss perspectives of Quad Council of Public Health Nursing Organizations regarding partnerships and the public health nurse to population ratio.
