The American Public Health Association Public Health Nursing Section (APHA-PHN) is a vital partner in the development of strategies to address contemporary public health nursing issues. APHA-PHN Section has a strategic plan to guide its work on those issues. This presentation will highlight the components of the current and future work of the section in supporting public health nursing roles in education, practice, and research.

Learning Objectives:
Discuss the APHA-PHN Section’s current and future work in addressing public health nursing issues. Describe the role of APHA-PHN Section as a national partner in fostering the work of public health nursing.
