The purpose of this session is to provide attendees with information on caregiving among various groups. The participants will have a clearer understanding of caregiving in traditionally oppressed groups including the elderly, African American women, and foster children.
Session Objectives: 1. Describe factors affecting the breast health behaviorsl among African American female caregivers. 2. Identify useful strategies to support parental caregivers. 3. Identify three factors that impact caregiver well-being. 4. Overcome interdepartmental barriers to the creation of an environmental health program.
