This session presents a variety of statistical applications to health data. They include a stages of change model, "promotion bias" in medical literature, evaluation of a disease management program, estimating prevalence of asthma, and test-retest reliability of a questionnaire.
Session Objectives: 1. Evaluate interventions that modify transitions between stages of change. 2. Identify the issue of "promotion bias". 3. Describe methods and outcomes of a disease management program. 4. Discuss prevalence of asthma in the Medicaid population. 5. Describe methods of assessing test-retest reliability.
