Leading researchers in the field will present their work covering a range of treatment settings where mental health care is delivered.
Session Objectives: After attending this session, learners will be able to articulate racial/ethnic differences in family involvement in psychiatric crises, describe the principles of action research and implementation science and their relevance to mental health research, define the chronic care model as applied to mental healthcare in primary care, identify barriers to implementing this model in an inner-city setting, define adverse safety events in the context of hospitalizations and identify contributory factors.
