Panel Discussion
The increasing focus on law enforcement strategies as a means of addressing U.S. immigration policy is bringing with it significant violations of human rights and deep harms to immigrants. At the same time, trade policies at the border are affecting the health of Mexican workers in the macquiladora sector. This session will address some of the human rights and health issues that arise at the border.
