The purpose of this panel discussion is to highlight innovations in research and practice related to physical activity, nutrition, and obesity prevention.
These groups are committed to using policy and environmental change to create population-wide health improvement. Four California-based initiatives will demonstrate the value of research for guiding practice and policy to improve health in low-resource communities. Lessons learned can be adapted and applied throughout the country.
