Public Health Nurses working with underserved populations have the ethical responsibility to utilize evidence-based research to plan interventions. Part of the solution to health disparities is to integrate social justice values with research, practice, and education.
Session Objectives: List two methods to improve networking with community immigrant support agencies for access to health care. Discuss how to design and test culturally relevant public health education. Discuss social justice values in research.
