The Burlington County New Jersey Medical Rerserve Corp has grown to 500+ members since its inception in 2005. With rapid growth comes the need for restructuring. This presentation will provide an overview of the steps taken to foster that growth and develop a core group of regional and municipal MRC leaders who are taking their subunits to the next level; development of municipal MRC teams who will support their own communities as well as their county; assisting with public health preparedness activities as well as in times of emergency.

Identifying and selection of leaders, and challenges will be discussed.

Tools, templates and group exercise resources will be discussed and shared.

Describe a process to identify MRC volunteers with leadership potential. Assess your MRC unit structure for it's growth potential.
