The purpose of this session is to provide participants with new research findings that pertain to emergency medicine and disaster response. Posters presented include diverse topics such as training strategies, managing flu outbreaks, mental health, and TBI. Professionals engaged in emergency medicine and disaster planning research and practice will gain relevant information about the data sources, methods, and new findings that can inform their work.
Session Objectives: 1. Describe three challenges to emergency medicine and disaster response. 2. Identify two strategies for improving emergency medicine and disaster response.
