This section will focus on the relationship between the new public health accreditation program and development of the public health workforce. Specific standards in the accreditation process will be linked to professional development in public health.

1. Describe the role that public health agency accreditation plays in supporting public health workforce development. 2. Identify the PHAB standards that describe workforce development.
