Kathy Schneider, PhD , Epidemiologist, Schneider Research Associates, L.L.C. & Buccaneer Computer Systems and Services, Inc., West Des Moines, IA
     
Dr. Schneider, of Schneider Research Associates, LLC, conducts studies and provides methodological guidance for an array of health projects. She serves as an epidemiological consultant for Buccaneer Computer Systems and Services, Inc. in support of research data products using the Chronic Conditions Warehouse. She has been active in helping to define and describe the range of Medicare Part D prescription drug data variables and files which researchers may use.

Evaluate the types of dates available in the Medicare Part D files. Identify the strength and weaknesses of such data for research purposes.
