213387 ASTDD Perspectives on State Capacity Building Efforts

The ASTDD Guidelines for Oral Health Programs were the framework for recent efforts to build state oral health capacity. The history of how these guidelines influenced capacity building efforts will be reviewed. ASTDD's perspectives on efforts over the past 7 years to build state oral health capacity will be presented. ASTDD's efforts to build on these efforts by making tools available to all state oral health programs will be summarized.
