Studies also include an evaluation of women’s knowledge of preconception risk factors, as well as research focused on the unique reproductive health concerns of women with epilepsy. Two presentations will focus on the needs of women facing mental health issues, specifically Borderline Personality Disorder and perinatal mental health disorders.
Session Objectives: 1. Compare public health interventions focused on addressing the reproductive health needs of diverse women;
2. Describe the reproductive health impact of enzyme-inducing anti-epileptic drugs for women with epilepsy; and
3. Identify preconception risk factors among socioeconomically disadvantaged women and women with mental illness.
