Poster session highlighting several projects describing health promotion efforts for people with disabilities and risk factors for and prevalence of secondary conditions. Presentations describe community-based health promotion efforts, methods of reducing secondary conditions among people with various types of disabilities, and studies of risk factors for and prevalence of selected secondary conditions.
Session Objectives: Identify the principal areas of ongoing research in health promotion for people with disabilities. Describe successful health promotion strategies for people with disabilities.
