In this session, there will be presentations on latebreaking developments in key areas of public health, including the H1N1 influenza pandemic, health care reform, the economic recession and health, climate change, health impact assessment, and evidence-based home visiting.
Session Objectives: Describe latebreaking developments concerning public health and each of the following topics: the H1N1 influenza pandemic, health care reform, the economic recession and health, climate change, health impact assessment, and evidence-based home visiting. Describe the roles of public health workers in addressing these issues.
