This presentation will continue to describe the development of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2010, focusing on the scientific conclusions reached by the Advisory Committee, the assimilation of those conclusions into a comprehensive technical report, and the translation of that report into succinct, accurate, and functional Federal policy. The role of public comments will be addressed, and the timeline for expected public release will be shared.
