This session describes preconception, prenatal, and interconception strategies for promoting healthy pregnancy and favorable birth outcomes, as well as highlights gaps in services and inequities in care that must be addressed to eliminate disparities in maternal and infant health.
Session Objectives: 1) Identify gaps in services and disparities in preconception, prenatal, and interconception care that foster maternal, fetal, and infant health equities 2) Describe preconception, prenatal, and interconception strategies for promoting maternal health and favorable birth outcomes
