This session explores issues related to current and future public health nursing practice and education. The population focus and standards of practice are analyzed along with salary discrepancies and research into undergraduate student interest in public health nursing. The Public Health Workforce Development Toolkit is also discussed along with methods to increase capacity, visibility and quality of care.
