The session explores a number of extrinsic factors and their influence on policy and ultimately clinical practice. The major focus is on cost of services for Medicare patients with expanded services and the process of testing for licensure.
Session Objectives: Identify factors that contributed to budget increases assigned to chiropractic costs in the budget neutrality analysis of the Medicare Chiropractic Services Demonstration. List the four levels of clinical scenarios used in a clinical competency examination for chiropractic.
