Poster
This poster session will describe the development of public health interventions focused on the improvement of reproductive health at the international, national, and state levels. Posters will address such topics as human papillomavirus (HPV) infection knowledge and behavioral intention in India, the non-utilization of HIV testing services among adult women in the U.S., early age of sexual debut as a risk factor for HPV, knowledge and use of and teen pregnancy assessment in rural Texas, and women's knowledge and use of hormonal contraceptives to suppress menstruation. Further information on the development of targeted interventions for diverse populations of women will be shared, including urban Native Americans, Mexican-origin women, ethnically diverse adolescent females, women with borderline personality disorder, and female sex workers.
Session Objectives: 1. Describe reproductive health interventions developed nationally for diverse groups of women.
2. List risk factors associated with human papillomavirus, non-utilization of HIV testing services, and teen pregnancy among specific populations.
