Presenting author's disclosure statement:Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: Dr. Abdul R. Shaikh is a Behavioral Scientist in NCI's Health Communication and Informatics Research Branch, where he directs a program of research on behavioral informatics and cyberinfrastructure for cancer prevention and control, and is an active participant in cross-agency initiatives in technology-mediated health communication and consumer health informatics. With a diverse background in public health research and practice, Dr. Shaikh also oversees extra-mural grants and contracts, and helps coordinate the Division’s Small Business Innovations Research (SBIR) portfolio with the NCI SBIR Development Center.Dr. Shaikh received his PhD in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, where he was a Rackham Merit Fellow. He received his MHSc in Health Promotion as a University of Toronto Open Fellow, and his BS in Psychology from the University of Toronto.
