This presentation will share promising oral health strategies from San Antonio Bexar County Head Start Program, which serves 6,789 children. The presentation will highlight successful community collaborations for dental disease prevention, oral health education, and improved access to dental care. The importance of building a network of case managers,dental professionals, and community stakeholders will be emphasized. Resources for additional funding to enhance local Head Start oral health programs will also be discussed.
