My presentation will focus on comprehensive payment reform in Massachusetts which moves all healthcare payments to a global payment reimbursement system through accountable care organizations (ACO).

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: As the former Commissioner of the Massachusetts Division of Health Care Finance and Policy I was responsible for implementing and overseeing the state’s landmark health care reform legislation. Additionally, in my previous role at the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation, I managed the Roadmap to Coverage initiative, which built and sustained momentum for the health care reform law.
