The presentations for this session will critically examine issues of social justice and public health as they pertain to the conditions from global to local that enable healthy communities to flourish versus block their development, and will do so in relation to the 3 foci of our Spirit of 1848 Caucus: the social history of public health, the politics of public health data, and progressive pedagogy for public health.
