This interesting session will explore current issues in the area of adolescent health epidemiology. Specific talks will include the following: Risk Factors for Suicide Attempt among Rural Appalachian Middle School Adolescents; leading causes of mortality among American college students at 4-year institutions; reports of “sexting” from a regional census of high school students; religious affiliation, spirituality, and health among young adolescents; and, weight, weight perceptions and health-related quality of life among youth.
