This interesting session will cover a variety of current and important topics in epidemiology today. Specifically, the session will review areas including alcohol dependence; an adherence program for diabetes; health concerns among patrons of 3D movies; and, trends in asthma epidemiology.
Session Objectives: At the conclusion of this session, the learner (attendee) will be able to: 1. Recognize the current knowledge, trends, and research for a variety of important topics in epidemiology. 2. Describe risk factors and issues in alcohol dependence; 3. Discuss an adherence program for diabetes and disease management; 4. Understand health concerns among persons watching 3D movies; 5. Describe trends in asthma epidemiology.
