4135.0 Improved Oral Health for the Older Adult: Recommendations and Approaches for National and State ActionTuesday, November 1, 2011: 10:30 AM

This session will highlight recommendations and actions to improve the oral health of the older adult population. The recommendations of the American Dental Association-convened National Coalition Consensus Conference on Oral Health of Vulnerable Older Adults and Persons with Disabilities will be described along with strategies/actions to implement these recommendations. Programs and policy approaches addressing the oral health needs of this population will be discussed and resources shared. The purpose of this session is to facilitate communication and coordination of efforts between various groups working towards the goal of improved oral health for the older adult population.
